Design Board : A Fashionista Love Story.

My background is in fashion photography…so when I get a chance to mix fashion and bridal I tend to want to squeal.  I love everything about shooting weddings…but my very favorite part is shooting the bride.  And not just shooting her…but making her look and feel like a supermodel.  Wedding days can be hectic and not leave a lot of time for portraits.   With family and friends waiting for the Bride’s arrival, photos can sometimes get put on the back burner.  That is why stylized shoots are such an awesome way to get creative, unique photos after the fact.  They take place weeks, if not months later and can be such a fun thing for a newly married couple to do together.  And what bride doesn’t want to put her wedding dress on again??  I have a couple stylized shoots coming up which I am SO excited about.  I can’t wait to have a bride and a groom…all to myself…for hours!  My excitement has been consuming me today (unfortunately, these shoots are weeks away) so I thought I would make a design board.   This is my vision for my upcoming shoot with Christine and Richard.  I think I will name it…A Fashionista Love Story.

    Hi Lauren!

I love the inspiration board! In fact – it’s SUPER similar to the one I had for my own wedding, when our colors were green/rust/charcoal 🙂 I even had the same photo for the bouquet! (I <3 succulents)

I can't wait for June 19 – Hope the weather will be beautiful!ReplyCancel
