Backing in and a sneak peek…

There are certain things I just don’t do.  I don’t eat beans.  I don’t watch scary movies.  And I don’t back in.  Back in the day…parking was tricky for me.  During the parking portion of my driving test I parked in the furthest spot humanly possible as to allow myself ample room.  I passed.  But backing in?  No way jose.  That has fender bender written all over it.  WELL.   Over the weekend…I was coming home late without Gary.  I had circled a few times and there were no spots.  Except one.  Sandwiched in between a poorly parked mid-life crisis and trash cans.  Lots of trash cans.  I slowly drove by a few times eyeing up the spot. It had officially become my nemesis.  There was no getting in that bad boy head on.  I had to back it in.  After 37 sets of inching forward and backwards and a few little self pep talks…I had won.  I ran upstairs…flung the door open and proclaimed to Gary that I could now officially do anything.  I had backed in.  After forcing him to come see my victory for himself…he suggested we break out the bean dip and watch Friday the 13th.  Nice try Gar…nice try.

Other than feting this incredible task…I also spent some time with these hot people this weekend.  There is a lot of photo goodness coming your way this week.  For now…here’s a little taste…

I’m extremely impressed together with your writing skills and also with the layout in your weblog. Is that this a paid subject matter or did you customize it yourself? Anyway stay up the excellent high quality writing, it’s uncommon to see a great blog like this one these days..ReplyCancel
