I just stumbled across this as I was going through all my “lost” photos.  This is my little cousin (she’s not quite this little anymore)…so I thought I would share it with you all.  There is just something so cute about how tiny babies are.

And…I also wanted to say thanks to my cousin (who’s really more like my big sister, and this adorable baby’s mom) for bringing out in me what I’m now positive is what I’m meant to be doing.  When I was still in school she was having me photograph her kids every chance we got.  And any time her friends needed pictures she was referring me left and right.  She always told me this is what I should be doing so it’s only appropriate for me to give her little shout out.  She let me use her family as guinea pigs and most definitely help me get to where I am today…

I love you like a sister too 🙂 I am so happy that your in my life and I am even more happy that your making your dreams come true!!! I love ya!!! Keep up the good work!ReplyCancel

I know I’m a day late…but I just wanted to say Happy Mother’s day to all the amazing mothers I’ve had the chance to meet since I started this venture.   I feel so lucky to know them all!  They’ve so generously let me into their lives to document their most precious moments.  You are all amazing and I still don’t know how you do it!  You all definitely deserve this day!

And also to my own mother…who deserves this day more than ever for raising 2 awesome (if I don’t say so myself) kids who I think are turning out pretty well!  😉  My mom was the mom who never let me out of the house in the morning without some sort of breakfast because “I needed to food to make my brain work!”  🙂  And even when I was 18 she was still putting little “I love you” notes in my lunchbox.  Thanks mom…for being the best mom I could ever ask for!

It’s easy being a great mom when you have great kids! Lauren was always such a source of pride for me and she continues to be! I love her so much and feel so fortunate to have her as my daughter – life just doesn’t get better than that!ReplyCancel

You all may remember Murphy from one of my first posts on my blog.  He is such a fun little man and I absolutely adore taking photos of him!  Well…since that post some months ago…there has been another addition to the Belvin family.  SO…Cara and I decided to get together and do some baby bump pics.  So here is sneak peek of the photos I am currently working on.  LOVE this family!!!  Enjoy!

I know it’s just a few but hopefully that will hold you over for a while!  The rest are coming soon…I pinky swear!!!

After hours of editing, the Evelyn and Mack photos are finally done and I am so excited to share them with you all!  I just don’t have the words to describe how awesome this family is.  I met them through my good friend, Cara (she has the adorable little boy, Murphy).  Cara had said so many nice things about Maureen and her family and every one of them was true.  They were so easy-going and fun to hang out with all day.  Their kids are absolutely adorable and I am so grateful I got the chance to work with them.  OK…enough babbling from me…here are the photos…

Her eyes were unreal…I just couldn’t take enough pictures of them…

She was asking for bubbles all day…so when we finally got to them she was quite the happy camper…

Picking out which photos to put on here was incredibly hard.  Almost harder than trying to edit them all (almost, but not quite).  I wanted to put them all but it would have been the world’s longest blog post.  Hopefully these give you an idea of our day and how much fun we had.  I feel so fortunate to be able to work with such amazing families!  Have a great one!

    Lauren,
You are an amazing photographer!!!!!!! I know you are going somewhere beyond these beautiful photos of my daughter, granddaughter, grandson and son-in-law (admittedly awesome subjects), but we have family events in our future that we hope you will capture. You are quite gifted. God bless you.

Last weekend I spent a day with this wonderful family!  I’ve been editing their photos for the last few days and I’ve never had such a hard time before.   This family is so beautiful and every photo seems better than the last.  I’m slowly but surely getting through them all, but for now here’s a sneak peek of some of my favorites thus far.  Now you can get an idea of exactly what I mean…enjoy!

This is Evelyn.  Her eyes are amazing…and part of the reason I can’t seem to edit out any of her pictures.  She’s just so darn cute!!!

They were the most easy-going, fun loving family.  I loved every minute I got to spend with them!  And little Mack was such a trooper….

Maureen is one of the most photogenic mothers I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with.  I’m convinced it’s impossible for her to take a bad photo…and then there’s Mack.  The epitome of precious.

So there’s a few of my favs.  I’ll be posting TONS more as soon as I get them all done.  I’m feeling so excited and inspired right now!  I absolutely love it!
