Fashion Friday : My Bedroom – Olive Oasis

The other night my very design-savvy friend came with me to Home Depot to pick out the paint color for my new office.  I’m not exactly the most decisive person…nor am I a risk taker when it comes to paint color…so she came along to guide me down the right path.  I usually stand in front of the paint display for a good hour deciding between winter white, bone, or sandy beige.  Very exciting colors I know.  After a few hours at home depot…and a lot of coaxing from Sid…I was in the self checkout line with more paint than I knew what to do with.  We went with Delicious Melon for the office (which I am currently in love with)…but also left with smaller containers of various chalkboard paints, Italian Olive, and Tibetan Orange.   I had no clue what I was going to use theses colors for…until now.  My bedroom has been in the “under construction” phase since I moved in 4 years ago.  It’s kind of turned into my storage closet and place for all things that don’t have a place.  Well not for long.  Lately, I have been obsessed with the color Olive…so I have decided I am turning my bedroom into an Olive Oasis.  That little can of Italian Olive I picked out at Home Depot is going to be put to good use.  So today on Fashion Friday…here is my vision for my Olive Oasis…coming soon to bedroom near you.
